Silver Surfers Day 2011

Residents and staff at Willowbank celebrated national Silver Surfer's Day 2011 by hosting a beach themed party. It was a great opportunity to introduce the new touch screen computer into the home, allowing residents to Skype friends and family in an informal and undaunting environment.

Themed activities were held throughout the day including; word search competitions, a treasure hunt and beach volley ball, all topped off with a delicious beach BBQ!

Now that every Netley Home has a Skype enabled touch screen computer, and thanks to Internet Buttons' user friendly controls, residents from other Netley Home's were able to join in the fun at Willowbank and see for themselves as the day progressed.
