Disaster hit Japan is a top priority for Shelterbox today.  Tens of thousands of people living in Japan have lost their homes and are absolutely devastated by the recent disaster. Japan has the fastest ageing population in the world; it is estimated that approximately 20% of the survivors will be over the age of 80.

Mark Stevenson, a close friend and relative of some of our staff, has set out to complete the Atacama crossing,a fierce and gruelling challenge in order to raise funds to help Shelterbox deliver its vital assistance.
