Medieval Banquet

On Saturday the 23rd of October Willowbank’s dining room was transformed into a castle courtyard and around the home were swords and knights in armour.Netley Partnerships Mandy Bibby

Residents enjoyed throwing sponges at members of staff who had been put in the stocks and they even had a go at indoor archery with a prize for the arrow nearest to the bull’s eye.  Various prizes were also up for grabs in the raffle and tombola and we would like to thank Paul’s Farm Shop and Absolutely Fabulous of Leyland for their generous donations of vouchers.Netley Partnerships one fifth duo

There was music from the ‘One Fifth’ Duo on guitar and accordion.  As well as the banquet itself there was a cake stall and traditional parched peas were served to mark the occasion. Netley Partnerships Mandy Bibby

Our manager Mandy Bibby got into the spirit by dressing up as a jester and it was certainly a lively day that residents thoroughly enjoyed.  Thank you to everyone who made it a day to remember!
