Baking Club

Recently Willowbank residents put their baking skills to the test as they baked some delicious gingerbread men.  With the help of our care assistants and our manager Mandy Bibby, residents mixed ingredients, rolled out the dough and cut out the shapes.

When they were ready they iced them and then later on enjoyed the fruits of their labour with a nice cup of tea.

This activity is just one of the many that regularly take place at Willowbank, aiming to enable residents to interact with their environment and help develop social relationships.

“All the residents and staff had a lot of fun making the gingerbread men and can be very proud of their work. At Willowbank we try to encourage our residents to take part in a variety of different activities that give them the chance to express their creativity and talents.” said our Manager.
